No they are grab handles and can slip up to your elbow

Does the organizer fit in the Caroline?
No, the organizer does not fit in the Caroline. The insert is limited to the majority of our leather diaper bags and totes. However, our packing cases fit perfectly in the Caroline! It’s a beautiful pairing.

As a mom of 4 I have used my fair share of diaper bags including FP and Fawn and this is the best quality and craftsmanship of any I have owned to date. The insulated bottle pocket on the inside is genius as well.
My unicorn bag! I carry it everyday and it still looks brand new! The old english leather is buttery soft, yet so durable. I use this as my day to day bag and it fits everything we need easily! The bottle pockets are my favorite - they are so generous they can even tote my 26 oz yeti. Love this backpack! Paired my diamond khaki crossbody strap for easy shoulder carry and it's super comfortable!
The perfect carry all! This bag is a total workhorse! It can carry anything. It's large but light weight. My favorite feature is the padded backpack straps. No matter how much I put in her the weight is manageable on my back. I have searched for years to find a tote that didn't get unbearably heavy.

Literally obsessed! I’m a mom of 3. Oldest is 9, middle is 6, and youngest is 2 and still in diapers. The Brittany is such a great bag for me. I like to carry just what I need and nothing too extra. Once my youngest is out of diapers, I know this will make a wonderful purse. I love that it’s so easily transitional. Perfect! I’m an ICU RN and when the pandemic started I opted for washable bags. I wanted a few nicer options for outings and events. This was my first LJ purchase. I love it. The leather is so soft and buttery. I’m an OVER-PACKER and I find style fits more than enough of what I need. I love that there are so many ways to carry the bag! The black with the gold hardware is beautiful!

At first I ordered the camel! Loved the style but I wanted leather! Customer care was awesome about letting me send it back! I immediately ordered the sand in leather along with some accessories!!! I am in love with this bag! There is so much space, I love the style, and the quality is amazing!!! It is so versatile!

I LOVE my Caroline bag! While I love to switch between my LJ bags and enjoy them all, Caroline is the one I always come back to. I have a 4.5 year old, so I don't pack it for babies -- but for me, it's a fabulous mom/day bag. I'm an overpacker, and Caroline's many pockets help me keep things organized, while her padded backpack straps make her comfy to carry even when full. I love the two front pockets for my phone and keys, and the big side pockets for my water bottle and my daughter's. I leave the front slip pocket open for things that I need short-term/seasonally, such as sunscreen or bug spray, papers I need just for that day, etc. The interior holds snacks, a first-aid kit, sunglasses, etc., in the pockets and along the bottom, and then I leave space on top of those contents to put in a small purse (I often use my LJ crossbody for this - works SO well). I love having a small purse that I can easily grab when I don't need the whole bag, such as when I run quickly into a store. There's space in the interior for all of that and more. And I love the grab handles -- when I first considered the Caroline, I wasn't sure if I liked the look of them, as they made her seem less "purse-like." But now I adore them. They make her so easy to grab when getting out of my car -- when I use my other LJ bags, I miss those handles! :-D Thank you, LJ, for yet another thoughtfully and beautifully-designed bag! I get compliments on her every time I take her out. I have the original Old English color, which is a lovely, cognac/chestnut tone. I did also order the OE Sand but decided to send it back - while gorgeous, it was just a touch too light for me. I'm thinking of getting her in blush - she's really just the perfect bag!

I love this purse I’ll give it a solid four and a half! The only thing that I dislike is that magnetic pocket behind the two zipper pockets doesn’t stay closed. They need to bring back the actual magnetic clasp for the pocket to stay shut. I experienced this with two Caroline’s now. I have one with the clasp and it does stay shut unlike the ones with just magnetic. The sand color is beautiful and you can tell it’s good weather because of the slouchiness. I love All of organization I’m able to do and how deep I am able to pack the bag. Also love the jade tassel!
