Lily Jade, Fawn Design, and Freshly Picked bag comparison
We are excited to announce an ongoing new series to the blog called "Product Round-Up." We will be posting comparisons of various brands and bags. Today’s round up includes three requested comparisons: The Lily Jade Caroline bag in Camel, the Fawn Design Original bag in Brown, and the Freshly Picked Classic in Butterscotch.

First, let’s talk about comfort! Just like a good bra strap can make or break your experience wearing it (no matter how cute it looks), the same principle applies to carrying a diaper bag loaded up with all the essentials. In the side by side backpack strap comparison pic below, all three bag straps have the ability to be detached at the bottom and can be “hidden” to convert from a backpack style to a satchel carry style. While all the straps are durable, the Lily Jade ergonomically shaped and padded straps are the widest and covered in our buttery soft vegan leather and resist staining and wear. The Fawn Design and the Freshly Picked both feature the seat belt style strap.
While we’re on the subject of comfort. You can also see the crossbody strap option differs between each bag. The strap anchor points on the Freshly Picked bag are the narrowest. This might be difficult to use for larger chested women or very slender shouldered women as it makes it difficult to stay securely on the shoulder. The Fawn Design bag is set wider but loses some of its shape as it starts to collapse in the center under the weight of the bag. The Lily Jade strap is set nice and wide without sacrificing the shape or accessibility of the bag while wearing it. Next, let’s talk about space and the volume of each bag. We all need enough space to pack essentials and then some. Lily Jade’s designs always include considerations for mom, baby, and beyond. We believe organization is a key to making life easier. Not only does the Caroline have "pockets for days", but the overall bag has more cubic inches of space to offer for all your needs. You can see in our space comparison pics, we looked at both the external pockets as well as the interior spaciousness of the bags.

While the Caroline looks sleek on the outside, she is deceptively spacious and can handle essentials and even overnight gear. You can see that she expanded to easily accommodate 3 large plush towels when the other two bags reached capacity with just 2.
It’s summer, it’s hot, and we know hydration is high on the list! When we tried various sizes of water bottles and blender bottles in the exterior pockets of each bag, it seemed to be clear that some struggled to fit the bottle in securely or at all. Keep your eye on the large blue bottle and the large blender tumbler. It doesn't fit in the Fawn Design Original, rides high with less stability on the Freshly Picked bag, but settles deeply in the Lily Jade.
You’ll notice from the pics of the Fawn Design and Freshly Picked, that 2 of the 3 bottles fit, but were unable to reach the bottom of the bag .
