Why vegan (faux) leather?
This has been our most requested material for several years. It offers a beautiful finish at a lower cost to our very patient customers.
- What are your vegan materials made of?
The outside of the bag is a custom-developed faux leather for Lily Jade durable synthetic coating bonded to a fabric backing. The liner is a plush stain and water-resistant nylon. Our faux leather is free of Lead, Phthalates, and BPAs. All components are compliant with California Proposition 65. -
Will my vegan leather last as long as leather and will it peel like other vegan leather bags?
We expect that this vegan leather will last longer than other popular brands. We've performed extensive abrasion and wear testing and worked with the supplier to enhance the bond strength and durability of the material. The luxurious hand feel is very different than what you'll find on Amazon or from other mainstream diaper bag brands. We feel extremely confident that this will be the best vegan leather available and we are providing a 6-month warranty against peeling (does not include natural wear or scuffs) and a full year for structural coverage. While natural leather does have a longer life cycle than vegan leather, we believe you'll be very happy with the performance over time of this premium material engineered to Lily Jade’s standards.

As a mom of 4 I have used my fair share of diaper bags including FP and Fawn and this is the best quality and craftsmanship of any I have owned to date. The insulated bottle pocket on the inside is genius as well.
My unicorn bag! I carry it everyday and it still looks brand new! The old english leather is buttery soft, yet so durable. I use this as my day to day bag and it fits everything we need easily! The bottle pockets are my favorite - they are so generous they can even tote my 26 oz yeti. Love this backpack! Paired my diamond khaki crossbody strap for easy shoulder carry and it's super comfortable!
The perfect carry all! This bag is a total workhorse! It can carry anything. It's large but light weight. My favorite feature is the padded backpack straps. No matter how much I put in her the weight is manageable on my back. I have searched for years to find a tote that didn't get unbearably heavy.

Literally obsessed! I’m a mom of 3. Oldest is 9, middle is 6, and youngest is 2 and still in diapers. The Brittany is such a great bag for me. I like to carry just what I need and nothing too extra. Perfect! I’m an ICU RN and when the pandemic started I opted for washable bags. I wanted a few nicer options for outings and events. This was my first LJ purchase. I love it. The leather is so soft and buttery. I’m an OVER-PACKER and I find style fits more than enough of what I need. I love that there are so many ways to carry the bag! The black with the gold hardware is beautiful!

Finally decided to try wearing a trendy crossbody bag, and this couldn't have been a better pick. First of all, the overall size is big enough to offset my "mom ***" and not look disproportionate (you know what I mean, ladies). Love the extra strap for a looser fit, and oh my word, the POCKETS. They are the real star of this purse. I use the large part to store my keys & wallet, along with a small pack of wipes and a diaper (so great to be able to leave the full diaper bag in the car when running quick errands). I've even been able to store a pair of sunglasses on top of all that without an issue. The middle pouch is perfect for a travel size lotion bottle, some hand sanitizer & a comb. And the smallest zippered area is where I stash my lip balms & a tube of concealer. Essentials covered! Thank you Lily Jade for creating the most thoughtful, durable & perfectly sized sling bag. I want one in every color!

I've wanted a Lily Jade for a few years now. I tried relentlessly to win one on Instagram with no luck! But I did win a couple other brands' bags...and sold them to fund a Sarah Grace. I only wish I hadn't waited too long to grab the Sarah Grace in OE leather. THAT would've been perfect! The size is perfect for having two kids in cloth diapers. I don't even feel I over pack, not after watching packing videos, but I do tote a ring sling, change of clothes for baby, 3 diapers for each kid and some other little things. I love that this bag is horizontal rather than vertical. Less digging. It is extremely classy. I love that. I thought I'd hate the tassle but it just adds to it. The lining, while I'm afraid it'll get dirty quickly, is very pretty. I specifically narrowed down my choice to the bags that had the hidden backpack straps so that I can have the option of crossbody or backpack at all times without converting a strap. The bag feels nicely made, though I just got it, so no durability test here yet! The color is pretty (camel). Nice variety of pockets. I did prefer the look of having a flap over one of the front pockets. And I will never understand having an insulated pocket inside the bag. Because I don't ever have room inside a bag for a water bottle. It has to go on the outside! And I kind of wonder how much good that material insulation even is? I use insulated water bottles. This bag definitely does not scream "diaper bag" or anything baby related, really. It would make a nice overnight bag later. I like it better that the pockets are built in, no organizer liner. I have no need for a liner that removes as my kids don't go to daycare or anywhere else, really. The bag is so good I'm already looking forward to 2 more!

I have enjoyed my new little bag. Since I have to carry an epipen everywhere we go for my son, I do wish it was slightly bigger, but other than that, I absolutely love it!

I love the function as a day purse. I tried to do the backpack strap with the videos and it's not as functional as the Caroline bag. It does make a good crossbody bag. All the pockets are good size.
